【What is 4v4?】

4v4 is a four-a-side football tournament created by Keisuke Honda to bring more excitement to the football world.

Built under the mission:
“A football world championship for every child.”

It was first launched in 2023 for youth players (U10 & U12), and 2026 marks its fourth year.

In Singapore, this will be the second edition following last year’s successful event.

The biggest feature of 4v4 is:

? No coaching from the bench.

Players must think, communicate, and make decisions by themselves on the pitch.

With only 4 players on the field, players get more touches, more chances, and more decision-making opportunities.

Qualification for the
4v4 FINAL (Tokyo, Japan)
on 11 February 2027

【4v4 FINAL Qualification Requirement】
To qualify for the 4v4 FINAL, more than half of the team members must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (PR).

Teams that do not meet this requirement are still eligible to participate in the 4v4 Singapore Tournament.
However, even if they win, qualification for the 4v4 FINAL will not be awarded.

Teams that win the tournament and earn the right to participate in the 4v4 FINALS are, in principle, not allowed to change players after the tournament.

However, player changes may be approved by the organizer only in unavoidable circumstances, such as player injury or family reasons.
